Privacy Policy

Last updated May 21, 2026. Asyncly is designed as a local-first desktop product.

What Asyncly Stores Locally

The desktop app stores local workspace configuration, license activation state, UI preferences, and local task history on your computer. Your source code and local workspace files are not uploaded to Asyncly by default.

What Asyncly Services Receive

Asyncly platform services receive the information needed to run trials, subscriptions, releases, downloads, license activation, billing portal access, invitations, and support. This can include email address, name, plan, license status, app version, platform, architecture, hashed device identifiers, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, release metadata, and operational logs.

Codex and Third-Party Services

Asyncly uses the Codex CLI installed on your machine. Codex authentication, model usage, and provider account handling are governed by the provider you use for Codex. Stripe handles payment processing and may receive checkout and billing information.

Support

If you contact support, include only the logs or screenshots you are comfortable sharing. Do not send secrets, API keys, private source code, or customer data unless specifically requested through a secure support path.

Contact

For privacy questions, use the support contact listed on the Asyncly support page.
